Happy New Year! First, let us wish you a successful 2024, full of everything that makes you happy, healthy, and loved.

When we look back on 2023, we’re reminded of the ways we were challenged when it comes to keeping our fridge and pantries full – whether that was due to food insecurity, food costs, or other inflationary pressures felt by all Canadians.

What is in store for 2024?

As consumers, we can expect to have to be more imaginative with how we find savings. We’re thankful you followed us on our quest to bring you those ideas in 2023, and we’re so excited to help you in even more ways in 2024.

That said, the same tricks still apply.

Don’t be scared of trying new cuts of meat or trying different proteins, and don’t be tricked by scary missives online. At our core, we are here to give you the information, so you can make decisions that not only feed yourself and your family the nutrients you need but keep your wallet happy as well.

At present, Canadian consumers are dissatisfied with little action taken over rising costs, and misinformation about what they’re eating and where it comes from.

Our mission is to be your guide through an evolving news cycle and world where the price of bread seems to change every time you’re at the store.

The reality is that our consumer behaviors are changing because we are adapting to the circumstances we are facing.

Make sure to follow along with us this year as we work to bring you the #FoodFacts you deserve.
